The turn of summer to fall signals the beginning of grape harvest season in California, and we're marking the occasion with Calivine Dining. This celebration of California's renowned vineyards and wine production allows guests to sample the most vibrant flavors the state has to offer.
Begin the evening with a classic Panzanella Salad, with seasonal tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and California olive oil, accompanied by Jam Cellars Butter Chardonnay.
Next, sample a Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Tart, a creamy goat cheese and slow cooked red onion in tender short crust pastry, complemented by Josh Cellars Sauvignon Blanc.
Enjoy Meomi Pinot Noir alongside a Cali-inspired surf and turf featuring Flair-Seared Sesame Beef and Ahi Tuna over delicately seasoned rice with ponzu dipping sauce and wasabi aioli.
The fourth course features Roasted Pork Tenderloin paired with our intriguing little bit salty/little bit sweet Fig and Olive Relish, Whipped Sweet Potatoes, grilled Zucchini and Squash. Custom-made to pair with Josh Cellars Pinot Noir.
End your meal with a Peach Frosé Popsicle─a refreshing blend of Ohio-grown cling peaches, peach nectar, and California Rosé in Popsicle form. Playful and delicious, paired with a Kendall Jackson Reisling.
Dinner on the Bridge features five courses of perfectly paired cuisine curated by our chefs. Each dinner highlights wine selections from internationally recognized wineries, along with a beautifully designed menu created to enhance the flavors of the highlighted wines. The Plaza’s in-house Sommelier and Director of Food and Beverage, Brittany Shouse, will guide guests through tasting notes. Guests will also enjoy live music and the picturesque downtown scene from the skybridge over Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
