EVENT INFORMATION
The 2018 Gala will feature guest speaker Steve Inskeep, co-host of NPR’s Morning Edition, where he will share his experiences from the world of reporting for NPR. Inskeep has been the co-host of Morning Edition, NPR’s flagship news program, since 2004. He has interviewed everyone from presidents to warlords to musicians. His most recent presidential interview was in 2014 with then-President Barack Obama. He is also known for his successful radio series, “Borderland,” and the daily morning news podcast “Up First”. Inskeep is the author of Jacksonland, which revealed a long-running conflict between President Andrew Jackson and Cherokee chief, John Ross, and Instant Life: City of Death in Karachi, a book that reflects the disorderly growth of Karachi, Pakistan. Inskeep has regional ties to the area being originally from Carmel, Indiana, and graduating from Morehead State University in Kentucky.

The WNIN 17th Annual Gala is set for January 27th at 6:00pm in the Old National Events Plaza’s Exhibit Hall. Tickets are $125 and tables of 8 are available. Black tie attire is optional. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available for purchase at the door.
